In Norwegian only: Store norske leksikon – SNL (the Great Norwegian Encyclopedia) has more than 160 subject editors and contributing editors from NTNU, covering over 760 subject areas.

Many researchers take their own photos. Consent is required from individuals who are to be photographed or filmed.

Target audience and channel: Adapt your message to your audience and the communication channel.
The most important first: Don't save the best for last.
Clear language: Avoid heavy language and explain technical terms.
Research-based knowledge and scientific findings must be communicated to the public in language that is clear and easy to understand (guidelines on Language Policy for NTNU.
Visual content: Use visuals to make understanding easier.
Examples: If possible, relate to something concrete in life and everyday situations.
Take initiative: Relatively few researchers are contacted frequently by the media.
