About the departement

The departement is organized in the academic group of Civil engineering and Geomatics, academic group of Manufacturing and Materials and the administration.

Management team

The management team consist of Torbjørn Skogsrød (Head of Departement), Iver E. Jensen (Head of Office), Michael Cheffena (Deputy head research), Arne Ilseng (Deputy head education), Tormod Urke (Head of academic group Civil Engineering and Geomatics) og Tor Erik Nicolaisen (Head of academic group Manufacturing and Materials)

Meeting arenas

There are several meeting arenas at the departement. E.g: Management meetings (each Monday in even-numbered weeks), staff meetings for all employees, departement seminars, Summer party, Christmas party and Friday coffee each Friday at 14:00 in the dining room in Building B.

• Massage. NTNU in Gjøvik has an agreement with masseur Svein Erik Hagen. He is present every Wednesday between 07:30 and 13:00. To book an appointment, contact him directly on telephone +47 40401067. A treatment hour lasts for approx. 15 min.
