Fitness initiatives for employees in Gjøvik
The hour you are allowed to exercise during work hours each week can only be used during the applicable week. You can not save up hours, or e.g. use the swimming pool for free more than once/week.
Morning jog: A run in calm tempo/ "talking pace".
Thursdays at 07.30, we meet at the main entrance to the Helvin building.

- Tuesdays 15:00 -16:00 in Campus Arena Gjøvik (lane 1).
- Wednesdays 15:00 - 16:00 in Campus Arena Gjøvik (lane 1).

Yoga for employees is in meeting room G303/Ørneredet (Gneis building, 3rd floor). The classes will suit most people, you do not have to be flexible or athletic. There will be breathing exercises, warm-ups, classical yoga poses, dynamic exercises and relaxation. Read more about the yoga classes and common practice HERE.

Fitness room (individual)
You find the fitness room for employees in the basement of Building Helvin.
Please clean all equipment after use.

Employees in Gjøvik has free access to swimming pool facilities in Gjøvik/Tranberghallen, 1 swim/week/employee. Remember to bring your NTNU ID (your name is written on a list when you swim for NTNU).
If you swim more than 1 day/week, you have to buy ordinary tickets for the additional swims (do not write your name on the list).
Opening hours in Tranberghallen:
- Tuesday 15.00 - 18.00
- Thursday 15.00 - 18.00
- Friday 16.00 - 17.30 (hot water 34 degrees Celcius)
- Sunday 10.00 - 14.00
EASTER: The pool is closed 13. - 18. April
