For students with Biology specialization: Join Master thesis project Teams group
For students with Geography specialization: contact Department of Geography
60 credits either within Biology (NATBI3900) or Geography (GEOG3940).
For Biology specialization: master agreement, risk assessment and project description must be submitted by 20th of January your 2nd semester.
Study desk at the department of Biology
1st year students can apply for clean desk. 2nd year students can apply for an assigned study desk.
Fill in application form to apply for a study desk.
Your supervisor must be affiliated with the Biology department for you to qualify for a study desk.

You find master thesis proposals in the Teams group Master thesis proposals – the Department of Biology .
You must submit your master agreement, risk assessment and project description by 20th of January your 2nd semester. Further information about this can be found in the Teams group.
Study desk at the department of Biology

Language requirements in master's theses
Study desks
Students working on specialization projects and/or master theses can apply to have a fixed seat in reading halls in either the Berg-building or Kjemi 2 at Gløshaugen. Which building you receive a desk in usually depends on where your supervisor sits or where your main lab work will be done. More information on how to apply is given at the start of the autumn semester.
If you are starting your specialization project or master thesis outside of the standard time period, contact the study advisor for your study programme for more information on available desks.

Masteroppgave i biologi
Du finner masteroppgaveforlag i Teams-gruppen Master thesis proposals – the Department of Biology . Alle som skriver masteroppgave for Institutt for biologi må delta på BI3086 – How to do science.
Du må levere inn en masteravtale, risikovurdering og prosjektbeskrivelse innen 15. September. Du finner med informasjon om dette i Lektor sin egen kanal i Teams-gruppen.
Masteroppgave i biologi har muntlig forsvar.

4. klasse lektor har clean desk. 5. klasse lektor kan søke om fast lesesalsplass. Fyll inn søknadsskjema for fast lesesalsplass. For å få fast lesesalsplass hos Institutt for biologi, må du ha hovedveileder på Institutt for biologi.
