Administrative support:

Safety

  • The safety representative shall look after the employees' interests in matters concerning the working environment
  • Safety representatives shall focus on prevention and health-promoting work
  • Ensure that the work is arranged so that employees can carry out the work in a way that is justifiable in terms of health and safety.
  • The safety representative shall act if there is a suspicion of conditions that may affect life and health. This also applies to psychosocial conditions such as conflicts, harassment and violence
  • Work with the work environment survey: preparation, planning and following up measures

Apply for funding from the RCN-FRIPRO

NFR FRIPRO will from autumn 2023 have open ended calls and opens for the submission of applications from mid-October.

At IBI we will make two main adjustments to accommodate this change in NFR’s project application procedures. These adjustments include processes for proposal development to increase the quality of our proposals (A) and changes to the project budgeting process (B). These two processes are described in detail here. As a starting point for the budgeting process you need to fill in this Appendix.

Practical information

Lunch: at campus Gløshaugen we have a lunchroom for us at IBI. (Room DU2-150). We usually start our lunch at 12.00.
We have a common kitchen in the lunchroom with coffee/tea, fridge and microwave.

There is a “språkkafé” on Fridays in the lunchroom usually at 12.30 where there is a chance to practice your Norwegian

Other useful information

International employees

NTNU International Researcher Support (NIRS) offers counselling services for administrative staff and academics working at or visiting NTNU. Other services offered by NIRS includes housing, dual career services, seminars, courses and social activities for the international community at NTNU.

Locations

IBI is split over three campuses. Gløshaugen with Realfagbygget is the largest and then there is Sealab at Brattøra and TBS at Trolla.

On the first floor/D1 at Realfagbygget you will find the administration.
