If you are going to work as a learning assistant or student assistant there are some things you need to remember before you can get paid.

Checklist for learning and student assistants
Before you start working as a learning or student assistant you need to have:
- A signed an employment contract with NTNU
- Received a Norwegian personal id-number or a D-number
- Received a tax card from the Norwegian tax authorities (lenke til skatteetatens engelske side?)
- NTNU will automatically collect you tax card in to our salary system when your tax card is ready
Salary and payment
If you are a hourly paid employee, you have to record your hours to receive a salary. Guide can be found here.
Salary is due 12th each month. Earned holiday pay is paid when all employment at NTNU has ended.
Learning assistants and student assistants and are employed in fixed-term positions, on an hourly basis from 80 to 120 hours per semester.
