Study Abroad Agreements in Great Britain and Ireland

About the agreements
In addition to the Erasmus agreements, NTNU also has Study Abroad agreements with universities in Great Britain and Ireland. As a Study Abroad student, you have to pay tuition fees, but the agreements makes you eligible for a reduction of between 10 and 20 percent.
Agreements on the Bachelor's level (undergraduate)
The following agreements are in place for the respecitve institutions:
- University of Glasgow (does not apply to medicine and School of Art)
Tuition fees: 20% reduction on Study Abroad Fee - University of Strathclyde
Tuition fees: 10% reduction within the Humanities, Social sciences and Business. 20% reduction within Engineering, and Science - University of Newcastle (does not apply to medicine).
Tuition fees: between about 6000 and 8000 GBP for one year, depending on field of study. - University of Roehampton
Tuition fees: 15% reduction - London Metropolitan University
Tuition fees: 15% reduction - School of Oriental and African Studies - SOAS
Tuition fees: 20% reduction on Study Abroad Fee - Goldsmith's University of London
Tuition fees: 20% reduction on Study Abroad Fee - Leeds Beckett University
Tuition fees: 10% reduction on Study Abroad Fee - Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh
This agreement is valid for students on the bachelor's level within the Humanities or Social sciences: 10% reduction in tuition fees
Agreements on the Master's level (postgraduate)
The following agreements are in place for the respective institutions:
- University of PortsmouthFor students enrolled in a Master's programme in European Studies
- King's College London
The agreement with King's College is in general available for all students at The Faculty of Humanities, but students enrolled in the following courses have priority: Classical Studies, History, Philosophy and Film Studies. The agreements makes students eligible for 20% reduction in tuition fees. In addition, there is a scholarship available through King's College. You can find more information on this on the King's College web site.
Agreements in Ireland
- University College DublinThe agreement makes students eligible for a 30% reduction in the Study Abroad Fee.
