Working hours / Flexible work hours / Registration
- Registration of working hours and flexible hours
Administrative, technical and employees on hourly pay, register work hours in the he Self-Service Portal or DFØ app. Your time balance is update the night after your registration.
- Taking a Whole Day or More Off
If you wish to take a whole day or more off, this needs prior approval from Unni Marie Stenholt Berget. Then, register your time off request through an absence application (via Time-Absence) submitted to Unni for approval. Once approved, the designated time will be deducted from your time off in lieu quota.
- Absence During Core Hours (09:00 - 14:30)
If you're absent during core hours, you must record the absence with a code. This will then mark the day in the DFØ Self-Service Portal as green/complete, not red/incomplete.
Example: If you want to take time off from 09:00-12:00, log these hours under code 921 "Partial Day Flexitime Off". The actual working hours of that day should be recorded under code 001 "Present". This avoids having a red day in the system.
- Absence Outside of Core Hours
No need to apply or record time off outside core hours. Just record your start and end times.
Example: If you work from 08:00 - 15:00, the remaining 45 minutes will be deducted from your flexitime balance during the next overnight run. These 45 minutes will appear as a negative in the system (flexitime balance) but won't be deducted from your annual time off in lieu quota (i.e., the 24 days you get per year). The day will appear as light green/incomplete - this is acceptable.
- Other Absences
If, for instance, you've had a doctor/dentist appointment and were absent from, say, 11:00 - 12:30, record your workday in the system as:
08:00 - 11:00: code 001 "Present" (assuming you actually started at 08:00)
11:00 - 12:30: code 002 "Doctor/Dentist"
12:30 - 15:45: code 001 "Present"
This will result in a dark green/complete day in the system, even if you were absent during core hours.
- Where Can I Find My Flexitime and Time Off Balance?
In the DFØ app: Home > Time Balance
In the DFØ browser: Home > Quota Overview
