For students and employees who have forgotten their NTNU password or need to reset two-factor authentication.

Reset two-factor authentication
If you have changed or lost your phone, you will need to set up two-factor authentication again. You must authenticate with BankID or MinID to be able to reset the two-factor method.

- When you have forgotten your password, you will need to create a new password.
- You need BankID or MinID to use this method.

- Remember to change the password on your mobile devices when you have created a new password.
Create new password with BankID or MinID
For students without BankID or MinID
- You must create a new password if you cannot remember the old one.
- You need your student number, the 4-digit PIN code and the ID number that your received in an email when you came to NTNU.

- Remember to also manually change the password on your mobile devices, they will not be synchronized.
If you have forgotten the PIN code from Studweb, you can order a new one by email.
If you have lost your ID number contact Oracle Support Service.

For employees without BankID or MinID
In order for you to create a new password without BankID or MinID, you must have a private e-mail address registered in the personnel system.
If there is no registered private e-mail address for you in the HR-system, you must contact your HR employee for help.
