Automatic forwarding of your email

Automatic forwarding of your email to another email address has been deactivated as default. 

NTNU wants better control over personal information and sensitive information. Therefore, we do not allow automatic forwarding of e-mail from your NTNU account to other accounts with external providers of e-mail services.

Why has automatic forwarding been deactivated?

  1. Increase security
  2. Reduce the risk of loss of personal data
  3. Increase NTNU's visibility as the sender.

Recommended solution for you who have several e-mail addresses

It is possible to add your NTNU e-mail account on your mobile device or on your PC in addition to the one you already have. You can read more about this here:
