Overview: Internal awards for employees
Purpose of the award
The award for research dissemination is awarded to an employee or unit for general research dissemination of particularly high quality and significance.
Criteria for receiving the award
The award can be given for outstanding user-oriented dissemination work, but can not be given for teaching or scientific publication. It can be awarded for a specific measure or for outstanding dissemination work over time.
- Proposals for candidates must be substantiated and documented.
- Documentation can consist of, for example, written material, audio and video recordings and websites.
- It must be stated whether the proposers are employees or students, and a contact person must be specified for the proposers.

Proposals for award recipients are submitted by at least three employees / students. Check the description of each award for justification of proposals. Some awards have specific requirements as to documentation of results. No signatures are requires, but when you send in the proposal by email to the contact person for the award, we ask that you copy the proposers.

How to select recipients
Pro-Rector for Research will appoint a selection committee consisting of three people.
When selecting an award recipient, emphasis must be placed on:
- active participation in society.
- professional communication quality.
- versatile use of communication channels and forms of expression (oral and written, language and image).
- creativity.
- willingness to be available for such tasks.
- the field's dissemination potential to different target groups.
- the response from users.
All forms of popular science dissemination can be taken into account for the award. These may include general conference presentations, meetings, talks, debates, articles, exhibitions, lectures, radio / TV programmes, films, websites and books.
