Training times gymnasium

Monday at 15:00–16:00 - fitness & strength
Wednesday at 15:00–16:00 - strength

Training is free for all employees. Instructors from Delta Aktivt holds the sessions.

Training sessions til approx. 1th of May 2023. In May/June there will be outdoor training.

Description of training sessions:

Fitness and Strength
Station-based strength training that challenges core muscles, strength and fitness. The exercises are performed one after the other with few breaks, and with a degree of difficulty that is adapted to your physical form.

A strength session with music. The training starts with a joint warm-up with simple movements, followed by a strength part with exercises that challenge the core muscles and large muscle groups. Load is adapted to the individual.

Training at Sit

Employees can sign up for membership in Sit training in Sundebygget. See prices and conditions at Sit.

Football practice

Days and times: Usually every Wednesday, from 15:00 to 16:00. Also every Friday from 15:00 to 16:00 if enough people sign up.

Where: Sparebanken Arena

Intended for: Employees at NTNU Ålesund

Transport: No organised transport

User fee: A small amount (below NOK 400, per semester). This will cover expenses for necessary equipment (vests/footballs, etc.) and payment for renting the gym, i.e. the extra costs that are not covered directly by NTNU Ålesund. The amount paid as user fee depends on the number of people.

Shoes: Shoes for playing on an artificial grass pitch. When playing inside the gym, you need standard football shoes (meant for indoor use, only light soles).

Employees who are interested can send an email to Ralf Kirchhoff or call 70 16 14 78. You will then be notified if/when there is a football practice, or changes in time or place.
