After activating your NTNU user account
For new students and employees who have just activated their NTNU user account.

What happens now?
NTNU now synchronizes your username and password with its systems and sets things up for you. It can take up to a day at the start of the semester, but most things should be available within about an hour.
Your next step
Once you have activated the user account, set a password and waited an hour, you can enable two-factor authentication. NTNU requires you to use this i.a. when using NTNU e-mail and Blackboard.
If you receive the message "the account is locked", the synchronization is not yet complete. Wait half an hour and try again.
Then, click "Login" at the top right corner at Innsida, NTNU's intranet. Here you will find your way to other IT systems and common information for all NTNUers.
PS: Guests/External users may not have access to intranet, please attempt logging in to your relevant systems directly.
