Software information

Trimble Novapoint is the design toolset in Trimbles extensive BIM (Building information modeling) solution for infrastructure projects – allowing civil engineers to design all aspects of modern roads, railways, tunnels, bridges, water and sewer system.

With Novapoint you can build a complex model of the infrastructure – including 3D terrain surfaces, 3D sub-surface layers, and 3D structures such as buildings, bridges, road signs, cables, vegetation, etc. Intuitive functionality makes it possible to view the model in plan, sections and 3D. All Novapoint-products require connection to AutoCAD.

License information

Volume license: Access limited and needs-tested volume agreement for a Dept./Faculty. Via License Server

Used by Faculty of Engineering (Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering). Contact the IT responsible at the Dept. for details.

Note that the program can only be used for academic work and not for commercial work.
