Software information

Microsoft Project 365 is a project management software product. It is designed to assist a project manager in developing a schedule, assigning resources to tasks, tracking progress, managing the budget, and analyzing workloads.

On computers administered from NTNU IT Project is installed as part of Office365. In order to activate Project on your own computer, you must contact the Orakeltjenesten to obtain a license.

License information

Singel User License: Available to employees on administered computers. Only a limited number of licenses are available at any time. If the license is no longer necessary, it is desirable to give notice so that the license can be released to others.

Students can find MS Project Professional at Azure Dev Tools for Teaching (shortcut: aka.ms/type3)

Used by some users at NTNU.

Note that the program can only be used for academic work and not for commercial work.
