Wolfram Mathematica (usually termed Mathematica) is a modern technical computing system spanning most areas of technical computing — including neural networks, machine learning, image processing, geometry, data science, visualizations (2D and 3D), and others. The system is used in many technical, scientific, engineering, mathematical, and computing fields.

License information

Volume license: Access limited and needs-tested volume agreement for a Dept./Faculty. Via license server. Only for employees.

Used by several faculties at NTNU, including Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (Department of Computer Science). Contact an IT responsible at the Faculty for details.

Note that the program can only be used for academic work and not for commercial work.
