Election regulations
Elections for the museum board are governed by NTNU's election regulations (English translation). The authoritative version in Norwegian.
As of autumn 2024, NTNU has implemented a dynamic election web system in which the electoral roll is updated daily. Updates are based on employees’ primary positions as registered in NTNU’s payroll and personnel system (SAP) and students’ study rights linked to programs and courses for the current semester (FS). This dynamic system replaces the previous arrangement, where a shared electoral roll was extracted twice a year. The election regulations will be updated in accordance with the new system in December 2025.
Students and employees can check their electoral roll entry on the election web page. It is no longer possible to appeal the electoral roll. If employees believe they are incorrectly listed regarding the job category of their primary position or their organizational affiliation, they must contact their HR manager immediately after the election is announced. See the dedicated webpage with information for voters about the electoral roll.
If you have questions, Aaste Line Strand will be pleased to answer.
