Elections at AD spring 2025
In the spring of 2025, elections will be held at the Faculty of Architecture and Design (AD) for the period 1 August 2025 to 31 July 2029.

Which elections will be held?
Elections for the Faculty Board
The Faculty Board is the highest governing body of the faculty. The board is responsible for setting goals and strategies for the faculty and making priorities within the framework given in regulations and higher-level decisions.
Number of members to be elected:
- Permanent academic staff: 3 members + 3 deputies
- Temporary academic staff: 1 member + 1 deputy (elected for 1 year)
- Technical-administrative staff: 1 member + 1 deputy
Announcement of candidates for the Faculty Board election
Elections for the Department's body for participation and co-determination
This is an advisory body for the Head of Department
Number of members to be elected:
- Permanent academic staff: 2 members + 2 deputies
- Temporary academic staff: 1 member + 1 deputy (elected for 1 year)
- Technical-administrative staff: 1 member + 1 deputy
Important dates
Election for the Faculty Board
- Deadline for proposing candidates: 12 May at 08:00
- Announcement of candidates: 12 May
- Electronic elections in Valgweb: 21-22 May
- Announcement of the election result: 23 May
Form for proposals - Faculty Election
Proposals must be signed by three eligible voters from the same electoral group, and the candidates should be asked if they are willing to stand for election.
The proposal should be sent to postmottak@ad.ntnu.nono later than 12 May at 08:0.
NB! Remember to copy the proposers when the candidate proposal is sent by email.
Elections at the departments:
- Deadline for proposing candidates: 3 June at 08:00
- Announcement of candidates: 3 June
- Electronic elections in Valgweb: 18-19 June
- Announcement of the election result: 20 June
Form for proposals - Department Elections
Proposals must be signed by three eligible voters from the same electoral group, and the candidates should be asked if they are willing to stand for election.

The Election Board ensures that the election takes place in accordance with the election regulations and consists of:

(election group: Permanent academic staff) - Leander Spyridon Pantelatos, PhD Candidate, Department of Design (ID)
(election group: Temporary academic staff) - Ina Renate Erichsen, Executive Officer, Department of Architecture and Technology (IAT) (election group: Technical-administrative staff)
Secretary of the Election Board: Sissel Hagen-Formo, Senior Executive Officer, AD Faculty Administration
