CityEngine is a three-dimensional (3D) modeling software application, and it is specialized in the generation of 3D urban environments. The cities you create using CityEngine can be based on real-world GIS data or showcase a fictional city of the past, present, or future.

License information

Site license: Available to all students and employees

Used by some faculties at NTNU, including the Faculty of Architecture and Design

Note that the program can only be used for academic work and not for commercial work.
