Taskcards is a virtual interactive whiteboard where teachers and students can collaborate in real time to create, discuss and organize content. The tool replaces Padlet at NTNU.
Taskcards have many possible uses, for example as a tool for joint writing and brainstorming, portfolio building, group work, or as a digital learning resource.
A board can be shared with a link and contributors do not need to log in to participate.
Taskcards are used in the browser either on a computer or mobile/tablet.

This is how NTNUers do it. (Examples taken from using Padlet)

Klaartje De Weerdt, Department of Construction Engineering, put the paddle into use for the first time in autumn 2020. In TKT4240, a large subject with approx. 250 students, Klaartje has used Padlet to collect questions from students. In previous years, she used to have open question time where students could raise their hands to ask. As a digital alternative, there was a Zoom meeting with Padlet in 2020. On Padlet, her students could write down questions in advance. The questions were then answered orally in a live Zoom meeting. The program was well received, 65% of the students who participated liked the program very much.
