Spartan is chemistry software for molecular modeling and computation. Primary functions provide information about structures, relative stability and other properties of isolated molecules.

License information

Volume License: Access limited and needs-tested volume agreement for a Dept./Faculty.  Available for Windows, MacOS X and Linux.

Used by Faculty of Natural Sciences (Department of Chemistry).

Note that use of the program is limited to members of the group nt-ikj_spartan-users on Programfarm (farm.ntnu.no) and for use in the teaching of KJ1041 and TFY4215. The program can only be used for academic work (teaching and research) - not for income-generating contract research.
