What systems use FEIDE login?
FEIDE is the solution for secure identification in the education sector provided by the Ministry of Education and Research. You thereby have one username and password to log in to many different systems (single sign on). If you log on to Innsida, you automatically also log in to many other systems that NTNU uses.

Under Applications you can find what systems you have given consent to (My Applications) and which personal data is shared with them. You will also find the list of other systems that use FEIDE (Available Applications).

Who can sign in using FEIDE?
All employees and students can use FEIDE to sign into many different systems using the same username and password. People associated with NTNU might also be able to use FEIDE sign on.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
I get an error when trying to log in with Feide
If the error message says that NTNU does not have access to the service, it means there is no agreement in place with the provider.
Unfortunately, you will not be able to use Feide to log in to that service.
We want employees and students to use Feide login for an external service
To enable this, your unit must:
- enter into an agreement with the service provider
- make sure a data processor agreement is in place
Read more about data processor agreements:
https://i.ntnu.no/wiki/-/wiki/English/Data+processor+agreement
Once this is done, the IT department can enable Feide login for the service. Remember to include the archive reference number for the data processing agreement when contacting IT.
An external vendor wants NTNU users to log in with Feide
For this to be possible, a unit at NTNU must act as the responsible party and enter into an agreement with the vendor.
If no NTNU unit takes responsibility for the service, the request will be declined.
A student organization wants to offer Feide login
The organization must have its own registered organization number.
Please contact the IT department through Orakel Support Services to clarify the next steps.
