Software information

Origin is a data analysis and graphing software for scientists and engineers. Origin offers an easy-to-use interface for beginners, combined with the ability to perform advanced customization as you become more familiar with the application. You can connect with other applications such as MATLAB, LabVIEW or Microsoft Excel, or create custom routines within Origin using a scripting and C languages, embedded Python, or the R console. In addition to all of Origin's features, OriginPro offers advanced analysis tools and Apps for Peak Fitting, Surface Fitting, Statistics and Signal Processing.

License information

Volume license: Access limited and needs-tested volume agreement for Deptments/Faculties, as well as individual licences. Available via license server.

Used by some departments at:

• Faculty of Engineering (IV-MTP, IV-IVB), Faculty of Natural Sciences (NV-IMA), Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (IE-IEL), Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (MH-ISM).
