Software information

Bentleys MicroStation is a Computer Aided Design (CAD) program. In addition MicroStation has several modules for design, construction and operation available. MicroStation is a modeling environment explicitly for the architecture, engineering, construction, and operation of all infrastructure types including utility systems, roads and rail, bridges, buildings, communications networks, water and wastewater networks, process plants, mining, and more. MicroStation can be used either as a software application or as a technology platform.

NOTE that now is MicroStation Connect edition - "Your Gateway to cloud services, portals and analysis" downloaded from apps.ntnu.no. For more about this new version, see "the new Bentley Education Portal" and the Bentley webpages.

License information

Site license: Available to all students and employees.

Used by some faculties at NTNU.

Note that the program can only be used for academic work and not for commercial work.
