Register research in The Norwegian Research Information Repository
The Norwegian Research Information Repository (NVA) is a shared national service for registering and reporting research results, as well as making research publications publicly available.
NVA is being developed with functionality from the current Cristin system and Norwegian institutional repositories, such as NTNU Open.
Access for academic employees
Access for academic employees
Personal data related to academic positions has been automatically transferred to NVA. You can log in via nva.sikt.no/login using Feide. It is also possible to log in with ID-porten.
If you see the option “+ New result” in the top menu after logging in, it means you are affiliated with NTNU (or another NVA institution), and you have access to register and edit research results.
Access for technical/administrative employees
Access for technical/administrative employees
All employees at NTNU who have Feide access can log in to the system via nva.sikt.no/login using Feide or ID-porten. A user account will be created automatically upon login.
However, in order to register and edit publications and projects, you must be affiliated with an institution within NVA. You can check whether you have such an affiliation by looking for the option “+ New result” in the top menu after logging in. If this option is visible, you have access to create and edit research outputs. If you do not see this option, please contact us for access: nva@ub.ntnu.no.
