AutoCAD Architecture (abbreviated as ACAD) is a version of AutoCAD, with tools and functions specially suited to architectural work. Architectural objects have a relationship to one another and interact with each other. For example, a window has a relationship to the wall that contains it. If you move or delete the wall, the window reacts accordingly. Objects can be represented in both 2D and 3D.

Free software: AutoCAD Architecture is licensed free of charge for qualified students and teachers, with an 18-month renewable license.

Used by Used at several faculties at NTNU, among others Faculty of Architecture and Design.

Note that the program can only be used for academic work and not for commercial work.
