Audacity is a free, multi-track audio editor and recorder. You can record live audio, convert tapes and records into digital recordings or CDs. Furthermore, you have the opportunity to edit WAV, AIFF, FLAC, MP2, MP3, and you can cut, copy, splice or mix sounds together.
