Transition to a new printing solution 2023
NTNU will switch to a new printing solution in the period from 12th to 28th of June 2023. Here you will find information about when your nearest printers will be transferred to the new system

Schedule and emergency printers
The conversion to the new printing system is spread over 7 days. The table below shows when the printers in your building will be moved.
In case of conversion, certain emergency printers will be exempted from conversion in order to be able to use the old printing solution if it becomes necessary to print while the conversion is in progress at your place.

Frequently asked questions
How can I know if my printer is ready for use on a new printing solution?
If the printer’s model designation starts with «IM», it is ready for use on a new system when it says KOFAX in the on-screen menu on the printer.
What happens to my printing allowance and what I have paid into the printing account?
All students receive a new allowance of NOK 300 on the new system. This is in addition to the allowance on the old system this semester. The remaining free allowance is canceled when a new allowance is allocated for the autumn semester.
Unused remainder of paid-in amount on old system is transferred to the new system.
There is something wrong with the printer, where do I report it?
