Rhinoceros (typically abbreviated Rhino or Rhino3D) is a commercial 3D computer graphics and computer-aided design application software. Rhinoceros is used for computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), rapid prototyping and 3D printing.

Rhinoceros geometry is based on the NURBS (Non-Uniform Rational B-Splines) mathematical model, which focuses on producing mathematically precise representation of curves and freeform surfaces in computer graphics (as opposed to polygon mesh-based applications).

License information

Volume license: Access limited to some Departments/Faculties via license server.

Can be used by: AD Faculty, IV Faculty (Department of Ocean Operations and Civil Engineering, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Department of Marine Technology).

Note that the program can only be used for academic work and not for commercial work.
