Guidelines for renting an apartment at Kongsvoll vokterbolig

As an employee at NTNU, you have the opportunity to rent apartment(s) at Kongsvoll station in Dovre.
The apartments are located on the other side of the railway line, up the hill above Kongsvoll station (to the left in the picture) and consist of two identical apartments, each with 2 bedrooms and sleeping accommodations for 8 people. Apartment "Dal" is located facing the valley and the railway line, apartment "Fjell" is facing the mountainside. The cabin is not meant to be used for working activities, but for recreational use.

The apartments have a simple standard and are equipped with:

• Refrigerator/freezer, stove, plates, cutlery, cups and detergents
• Shower inside the apartments, and outdoor toilet in the woodshed.
• Wood firing and electric heating. Firewood is found in the woodshed.

You must bring your own:

• Drinking water (you can NOT drink tap water)
• Dishcloth
• Potholder
• Towel
• Duvet cover
• Sheet
• Pillowcase

Important information for user

• Cleaning - The apartment must always be cleaned after use, also applies to toilet. You may be billed for lack of cleaning after your stay.
• Waste management - A waste container is located below the house by the railway bridge. Code to the container is 734.
• Snow removal - No snow will be plowed on the property, the user must do this themselves. Keep frontdoor free of ice and snow.
• Heat must always be turned on, also when leaving the cabin.
• The door to the bathroom must be left in open posistion when you leave the house.
• Parking - There is no road up to or parking on the property. Free parking is available at Kongsvoll Fjellstuer.
• Report errors/defects - If equipment is missing or errors / damage / lack of cleaning are discovered in the apartments, report this to e-vaktmester.

Booking and keys

• There is currently not possible to book a stay at Kongsvoll - more information to come.
• You can rent a maximum of one week (Mon - Sun) at a time.
• You will receive an e-mail if your request is approved which includes important information about the stay.
• You can check the apartments' calendar in Outlook for available dates - NOTE: You can NOT book a stay yourself in the calendar (start the calendar search with: "100 Fjell, Kongsvoll" or "110 Dal, Kongsvoll").
• You can rent both apartments at the same time. To rent several times, the first stay must be completed in time before you can rent a new stay.
• It will not be possible to book for Easter in Outlook - see under "Drawing lots for rent at the Easter holiday".
• Keys are collected from the key box at the entrance to the apartments. You will receive a code for the key box by e-mail when the booking is approved.
• Code to key box for WC is 7340.
• Cancellation must be made to kontakt@eiendom.ntnu.no no later than the day in advance. You can not cancel yourself via calendar in Outlook.
• If you have problems with access to the apartment, contact:

Price and payment

The price for rent is NOK 350,- per day and night/apartment. Both apartments can be rented at the same time.
Easter is divided into two periods (for 2021: 26.03-31.03 and 31.03-05.04), and the price for one period is NOK 2,500,-
An invoice will be sent to the person booking the apartment(s) in Outlook.

Drawing lots for the Easter holiday

During Easter, there is normally a lot of demand to rent the apartments, and it is not possible to make a reservation for the Easter holiday in advance. Information about renting during Easter will be announced on Innsida, with a deadline to register your interest.
