Everyone needs to draw attention to which information is given to the Internship-students, such as information about ongoing and planned research activities, unpublished results, customer information, IPR, sensitive information, etc.
We must follow national laws and guidelines regarding residence permits in Norway. If necessary, we have to apply for an e-license in accordance with the export control guidelines.
Internship-student stay
The Internship-student stay must be approved by the head of department at least 1 month before arrival. Only the head of department can sign all papers and agreements regarding the stay at IMA.
In the assessment, the head of department requires that the number of Internship- students per research group does not exceed 2/3 of the number of permanent academic staff per year. The supervisor’s total capacity will also be assessed.
Internship-students from strategic universities will be given priority.
A responsible contact person must be available during the hole stay.
