Guest Service - user guide for guest
Here you will find an explanation of what you need to do to complete your registration. Completed registration gives you an NTNU user with access to basic systems such as Feide and some of the programs in Microsoft Office 365.

Follow link in welcome email
Click on the link in the email and complete the registration.
Once you have completed your part of the registration, a host will approve your guest account.
I haven't received a welcome email, what do I do?
Check your folder for spam or junk mail. Some email systems may sort the email as spam or junk mail.
Notify your contact person that the email has not arrived, if you cannot find the email in spam or junk mail.
Log in to Guest Services
Click Log in (FEIDE/ID-porten) if you have a FEIDE-account at another institution or you have BankID, MinID, etc.
Click Manual registration if you cannot log in with FEIDE or ID-porten. Manual registration requires host approval before your account is created.
Registration with FEIDE
Log in with your FEIDE-account with your username and password.
Registration with FEIDE/ID-porten is easier and results in an automatically created guest account.
Check your contac tinformation
Make sure that your contact information is correct.
Fill in your mobilephone number.
Click Next.
Consider whether you should be searchable
Answer yes or no to questions your name and information should appear in searches on NTNU's website.
Accept guidelines
Read and accept NTNU's ethical guidelines and the university's policy for information security.
Click FINISH REGISTRATION.
Your registration is now complete
You will receive an email with information about activating your account.
