Mathcad, Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC), is used by engineers and scientists in various disciplines – most often those of mechanical, chemical, electrical, and civil engineering. Mathcad includes some of the capabilities of a computer algebra system, but remains oriented towards ease of use and simultaneous documentation of numerical engineering applications. This engineering math software allows you to present your calculations with plots, graphs, text, and images in a single document.

License information

Volume license: Access limited and needs-tested volume agreement for a Dept./Faculty. Via license server.

Used by some faculties at NTNU, including Faculty of Engineering. Contact an IT responsible at the Faculty for details.

Note that the program can only be used for academic work and not for commercial work.
