NTNU is part of the UNITECH International network, which offers degree students in STEM subjects a unique opportunity to build an international network and career at one of Europe's leading technical universities.

The UNITECH network consists of a number of outstanding industry partners and seven outstanding partner universities:

• Chalmers University of Technology
• Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU)

UNITECH offers a possibility to participate in an exchange program at one of the partner universities, with support from the Erasmus programme (including Erasmus+ scholarship and exemption from tuition fees*, and a unique opportunity for an international internship at one of the industry partners. In addition, participants receive a coaching course at a partner university, to prepare for their stay abroad and receive valuable experience for their international career.

UNITECH is open for all NTNU students in study programmes related to STEM subjects (Natural sciences, technology, engineering sciences and mathematics), who are in their 3rd or 4th year of the study programme when they apply (participation in the UNITECH programme happens during the 4th or 5th year of a degree at NTNU).

UNITECH offers a travel stipend of 1000 € to cover expenses related to gatherings for the coaching course. In addition, you can apply for Erasmus scholarship* for studies and internship in the industry. During your internship period through UNITECH, the host company will also offer an economic contribution to cover living expenses.

After completing the program, you will receive a Fellowship Certificate from UNITECH International. You will also become part of a strong alumni community, and gain access to a professional international network.
