Regulations of the NTNU University Library
The Library aspires to be a neutral, safe and comfortable place for all our vistors. All visitors are requested to comply with the Library regulations of the NTNU University library, as well as rules and conditions for borrowing from the library.

Drugs
No drugs are allowed within the library area. Persons who are under influence of drugs, or use, buy or sell drugs within the library area, will be dismissed, and the police will be notified.
Posters and campaign material
Placing flyers, advertising campaigns or lobbying etc. is only allowed when permission is granted by the library.
Unacceptable behaviour
If you witness or experience unacceptable disturbance in the library, please contact the library staff, or NTNU security services if the service desk is closed.
Threatening behaviour
If you witness or experience threatening behaviour, please contact the police or NTNU security services (outside opening hours).

Theft
Theft of books, equipment or other library belongings, will be prosecuted.
The University Library is not responsible for personal belongings that are stolen, lost, or broken in the libraries.
Animals
With the exception of service dogs for disabled people, animals are strictly forbidden within the library area.
Dismissal
The library staff or security services will call attention to any transgressions of these regulations. If this is not taken into account, the person will be requested to leave the library for the rest of the day.
